Our client is a US-headquartered startup in the renewable energy technology sector. It has been growing at a great pace in APAC over the last two years. The client’s goal is to have a diversity-rich team in the region but has been facing challenges in retaining women leaders as cultural diversity and male dominance in the industry makes it very difficult for women to succeed.
The client wanted to ensure that high-performing women leaders are developed to overcome challenges and succeed as leaders. The intended impact of the program was to increase the engagement of these leaders and drive their retention. The project was spread across APAC – specifically Australia, the Philippines, and India.
We started with understanding the on-ground situation through one-on-one discussions and focused group discussions with women leaders and their managers. Based on our findings, we designed an intervention conducted in two parallel paths:
The workshops used various methods, including the Gallup Strengths Finder assessment and Improv theatre, to enable participants to understand themselves better and chart a path for success.
Path 2: Individual Coaching
To ensure individual challenges were addressed, all participants underwent a series of five one-on-one coaching sessions tailored to their specific challenges and growth needs.
